Job Description of Forklift Equipment Handler:

The Forklift Equipment Handler is tasked with the safe operation of forklifts for the movement and handling of heavy loads and pallets in the warehouse. The position demands a comprehensive knowledge of warehouse procedures, safe machinery operation, and dedication to upholding a tidy workspace. Responsibilities encompass conveying materials between storage locations, guaranteeing secure and effective item storage, and aiding in inventory control. The preferred applicant will possess forklift handling expertise, exceptional precision, and the capability to work autonomously or collaboratively.

Responsibilities of Forklift Equipment Handler:

• Conduct regular safety inspections on forklifts each day and promptly communicate any issues with the equipment.
• Transfer heavy objects such as pallets and crates onto trucks, shelves, or storage spaces.
• Organize merchandise in storage spaces in a tidy manner to optimize the available area and uphold a systematic layout
• Recognize and record items that have been compromised or inaccurately supplied.
• Provide support with various warehouse tasks during periods when not using a forklift.
