Industrial Forklift Operator

Job Description of Industrial Forklift Operator:

The Industrial Forklift Operator is in charge of using forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets and other large goods in the warehouse in a safe manner. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, the capacity to handle equipment safely, and a dedication to upholding a tidy and orderly workspace are prerequisites for this position. Among your responsibilities will include moving supplies to and from storage locations, making sure that everything is kept securely and effectively, and helping with inventory control. The ideal applicant will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, have excellent attention to detail, and have prior forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities of Industrial Forklift Operator:

• Regularly check the safety of forklifts every day and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Transport and store heavy materials, such as pallets and crates, onto trucks, shelves, or storage locations.
• Systematically position items in storage areas to make the best use of the space and keep everything in order
• Identify and keep a record of any goods that are damaged or incorrectly received.
• Help with miscellaneous warehouse tasks outside of forklift operation hours.
