Job Description for Shipping Dock Technician:

Managing the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, sorting goods and making sure shipments are handled correctly will be your main duties as a FedEx Shipping Dock Technician. Physical endurance, meticulousness, and the capacity to operate in a fast-paced setting are necessary for this position. To transport goods effectively and safely, you will need to operate equipment like forklifts.

Responsibilities for Shipping Dock Technician:

• Handle the transfer of goods from vehicles by employing the right equipment
• Uphold a neat, secure, and structured dock environment.
• Implement all safety measures and guidelines accurately to mitigate the likelihood of any accidents or harm.
• Scrutinize the shipment for any indications of damage and promptly report any discrepancies or concerns noticed.
• Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors, enhancing overall efficiency and workflow.

Requirements for Shipping Dock Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in dock work, warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours
