Job Description of Dock Crew Member:

As a Dockworker at FedEx, your primary responsibility will be managing the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, sorting items, and ensuring that shipments are handled correctly.This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to operate machinery, such as forklifts, to move freight safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of Dock Crew Member:

Handle the transfer of goods from vehicles by employing the right equipment
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the dock space.
Adhere to all safety protocols and recommendations to minimize the risk of accidents and harm.
Examine the freight for any potential damage and immediately report any inconsistencies or problems identified.
Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors, enhancing overall efficiency and workflow.

Requirements of Dock Crew Member:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in dock work, warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours
