Job Description of Dock Freight Processor:

As a Dock Freight Processor at FedEx, your primary responsibility will be managing the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, sorting items, and ensuring that shipments are handled correctly.This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to operate machinery, such as forklifts, to move freight safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of Dock Freight Processor:

• Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Verify freight for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements of Dock Freight Processor:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is the preferred educational background.
• Experience in dock operations and warehouse procedures
• Sharp focus on particulars and strong organizational expertise.
