Job Description of Industrial Machinery Operator:

The Industrial Machinery Operator is in charge of using forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets and other large goods in the warehouse in a safe manner. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, the capacity to handle equipment safely, and a dedication to upholding a tidy and orderly workspace are prerequisites for this position. Among your responsibilities will include moving supplies to and from storage locations, making sure that everything is kept securely and effectively, and helping with inventory control. The ideal applicant will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, have excellent attention to detail, and have prior forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities of Industrial Machinery Operator:

• Conduct daily safety assessments on forklifts, noting and communicating any mechanical issues or needed maintenance.
• Manage the transfer of heavy loads, including pallets and crates, onto trucks, shelves, or storage zones.
• Organize items in a storage area in a neat and systematic manner to maximize space and facilitate easy access
• Identify and register products that have encountered damage or incorrect delivery.
• Engage in general warehouse duties during downtime from forklift operation.
