Job Description:

As a Package Handler at FedEx, you will play a crucial role in the distribution of packages and freight. Your responsibilities will include the physical loading, unloading, and sorting of packages, which may involve lifting and moving items of various sizes and weights. You will need to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that packages are handled with care and delivered to their correct destinations. Additional duties include scanning packages for tracking, assisting with loading delivery vehicles, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load outgoing trucks and unload incoming shipments.
• Check for damaged items and report issues to supervisors.
• Handle a high volume of packages while maintaining accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to meet daily goals.
• Help with inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of packages.
