Job Description for Cargo Loader:

Your main duties as a FedEx Cargo Loader will be to oversee the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles, sort goods and make sure that shipments are handled properly. Physical endurance, meticulousness, and the capacity to operate in a fast-paced setting are necessary for this position. To transport goods effectively and safely, you will need to operate equipment like forklifts.

Responsibilities for Cargo Loader:

• Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Verify freight for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements for Cargo Loader:

• It is preferable for applicants to have a high school diploma or a similar certification.
• History of working in dock-related roles and warehouse tasks
• Diligent scrutiny of details and adept organizational competence.
• Required to demonstrate the capacity to work flexible shifts
