Job Description of Parcel Sorter:

As a Parcel Sorter at FedEx, you will play a crucial role in the distribution of packages and freight. Your responsibilities will include the physical loading, unloading, and sorting of packages, which may involve lifting and moving items of various sizes and weights. You will need to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that packages are handled with care and delivered to their correct destinations. Additional duties include scanning packages for tracking, assisting with loading delivery vehicles, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities of Parcel Sorter:

• Manage the efficient loading of outbound vehicles and the swift unloading of incoming shipments.
• Evaluate products for damage and report any issues to those in charge.
• Skillfully handle a large number of packages while maintaining high levels of precision.
• Productively interact with colleagues and managers to ensure the accomplishment of daily tasks.
• Help in checking inventory and ensuring accurate documentation of packages in compliance with protocols.
